Rehabilitation in Internal medicine :

    • Rehabilitation in cardiology, it aims at the improvement of the patient’s cardiovascular functionality. In the physiotherapy session the heart patient’s heart rate is constantly monitored by the physiotherapists by means of heart-frequency meters and appropriately adjusted cardio fitness equipments.
    • Rehabilitation in Pneumology, it improves respiratory functionality thanks to exercises aimed at controlling the breathing and the respiratory mechanics in case of COPD, atelectasis, asthma etc…
    • Rehabilitation in Rheumatology, it aims at reducing chronic pain, local acute and chronic inflammation of the musculoskeletal apparatus and at maintaining the remaining motor functions. I.e. cases of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Arthritis Ankylosans.
