The Polyclinic is a "Center of excellence" of the L.U.de.S. University and has been established in order to satisfy the requirements in relation to the didactics, trainingship activities, clinical practice and scientific research in the belief that the didactics, practical applications and research have to interact in an operational “continuum" in which the students, the researchers and the teachers can integrate the doctrinal notions with the verifications "on the field" thanks to the internal activities taking place in the Polyclinic.
In this context every component of the "team" becomes main character of its high professional knowledge that is made possible by observation and practice besides the operators that act with the patients of the Polyclinics. This allows them to acquire the operational methodologies participating as training assistants to the diagnostic, clinic and scientific activity together  with the physicians, teachers and researchers of the university.
